I had a chance to visit Göteborg at the summer in 2006 when I travelled back from Göteborg->Vienna->Malaysia.
I had a night stay in Lerum (suburb in Göteborg) before the departure on the next day.

Project management sponsored me the trip to Göteborg by train (via Aspedalen station,takes about 20 minutes). The train fee is not expensive, it costed SEK40 or RM20 per single trip. If you make a return trip back from Göteborg within 3 hours then it's free of charge. :)（项目管理赞助了我乘搭火车从Aspedalen去哥德堡（大约二十分钟）的费用。其实每单程火车票并不昂贵（大约SEK40或20令吉），而且如果能在三小时内从哥德堡返回的话，火车票就是免费的）

Note: the only Malaysian restaurant in the city. Of course you can't compare the food as you eat in Malaysia. Most of the Asian food restaurants in Scandinavia has been customised to suit local residents.（这是市中心里唯一印有“马来西亚”的餐厅。其实大多数设立在北欧国家的亚洲餐厅，烹饪方法是以适应当地居民胃口的食物为主）
