I was in Göteborg for the first half 2008 before I prepared to get married in September!
As usual, it was a cold winter & spring season. Anyway, I had some enjoyable moments with some good friends and the colleagues...

In 2008, due to work assignments, I have been a frequent traveller to Europe (abt 12 single trips in the first four months!) And I had my first experience with KLM flight(transited in Amsterdam)

What a nightmare!! I had a very bad experience when I was on the way back to Malaysia on 1st feb 2008. After the KLM flight took off from Schipol airport, Amsterdam for 1.5 hours, one of the Boeing 747 engines (it has 4 engines) suddently malfunctioned! There was some sparks appearred near the window seat 39A, and my seat was 39D!

Then, we had to travelled another 1.5 hours return back to Schipol airport again (after some fuel dropped & emergency landing). It was about 12 am midnight when we reached the airport, and KLM arranged the hotel rooms for us. By the time after I checked into the Holiday Inn hotel, it was already 4am in the morning! Luckily, I returned home to Malaysia safely after 33 hours travel in total! (but it was more than 11 hours than usual). As I know, passengers who intended travel to the next destination in Malaysia had to pay for extra tickets due to KLM only responsible sent us back to KLIA, as their original flights to Penang, and Sarawak already missed.
