On 16th March 2007, It was a Friday. I was "supposed" to be onsite in Gilde, Steinkjer, but I ended up in Arctic/Polar Circle area located far north in Norway! How could this happened?
Hehe, due to my "hard work" had been appreciated by the UK total project manager, Mr. Trevor Chesterton, and since that day was my final day in Norway then he allowed me to take a day off (no deduction from personal leave). So, I planned to go somewhere in Norway which is memorable and able to catch the home flight back to Malaysia on Saturday's morning.
Then, I had done something that I have never did before.... A marathon 20 hrs to and fro trip in Arctic/Polar Circle area!!
Haha, after I told my decision to my collegues, they were shocked and called me as "Crazy Man" :p
（在2007年3月16日，那天是星期五，我本来是应该身在斯泰恩谢尔Gilde工厂里工作的，但是我竟然身处在位于挪威最北部的北极圈地区内！这是怎么一回事呢？
呵呵，由于我的“辛勤工作”已得到英国总项目经理的赞赏，而那一天是我在挪威工作的最后一天，所以他让我在那天休息（不需扣除个人假期）。所以，我就打算去一个终身难忘的地方，而且能够在星期六早晨赶上航班回到马来西亚。
然后，我做了一个我从来都没做过的决定....一个马拉松20小时，来回以及逗留在北极地区的行程！
哈哈，我把我的决定告诉同事们后，他们对此感到震惊，并说我是位“疯狂的人”！！）
What is and where is Arctic/Polar Circle area?
The Arctic Circle is one of the five major circles of latitude that mark maps of the Earth. It is the parallel of latitude that runs approximately 66° 33′ 39″ (or 66.56083°) north of the Equator. Everything north of this circle is known as the Arctic.
The scope of the Arctic Circle is including Greenland, northern Norway, northern Sweden, northern Finland, northern Russia, northern Alaska and northern Canada.
北极圈是地球的五大界纬度标志之一。其纬度数值为北纬66°34′。一切地区在这个圈子内被称为北极地区了。北极圈的范围包括了格陵兰、挪威北部、瑞典北部、芬兰北部、俄罗斯北部、美國阿拉斯加北部以及加拿大北部地区。
It is worth mentioning that, when I came back from the Arctic Circle, I missed the train to the airport! I had to take a two hours cab rushed to the airport, which is the most expensive taxi trip in my life(1,500 Norwegian kroner, or equivalent to RM 800!!). Luckily, the company is willing to let me claimed as project costs.

Spot#1（焦点一）: the Amazing Race Part1（奇妙旅程上）
After I had a farewell project dinner on Thursday night, then I took the fast mid night train at 1.30am and it reached the Arctic/Polar Circle zone after 8 hrs. I stayed about 3 hrs in a city called Bodø, Norway, and travel back again for another 8 hrs. I can't sleep well in the train as I was too amazed by the environment along the trip (Arctic haze, ocean, and snow mountains).
（当过了周四晚上的告别项目晚宴后，在凌晨1点30分，我就乘搭一列8小时快速火车前往北极圈区。我在那儿的城市（称为博德，挪威）停留了约3小时后，再搭另一个8小时火车回来。我未能好好的在火车上睡着是因为我对路途中的环境所着迷（北极霾，海洋，冰雪山区等））
Note: I transited at Mo i Rana station for half an hour.（在Mo i Rana过境站逗留半小时）
Note: Later, there are some train stops to pickup and set down passengers along the journey,e.g Dunderland, Lønsdal, Rognan, Fauske...（旅途经过一些车站。。。）
Note: Finally, on 16th Mar 2007 at 9:32AM, I reached Arctic（Polar） Circle in Norway!! Then, I realised maybe I am the only Asian in the trip!

Spot#2（焦点二）: the Amazing Race Part2@Bodø, Norway（博德，挪威）
It's quite amazing that city (in the Arctic area) is not that cold as I can imagine (It was only 5 degree celcius!) Later, I get to know that this was caused by "global warming" issue whereby it was in negative degree celcius few years ago!!
（当我在那里时（在北极地区内），真的难以想像它只有摄氏5度！后来，我才知道，这是因为“全球变暖”问题所造成的）
Note: Are the row of stones look like some Feng Shui's trick?（那排石头是不是有点像风水石阵？？）

Spot#3（焦点三）: Arctic haze, ocean, and snow mountains（北极霾，海洋，冰雪山区）
These are some natural "black and white" scenes, these was shot with a digital color camera, and was not set with black and white effect. （这是自然的“黑白效果”，我是用数码彩色相机拍的，而且也没有特别设置为黑白的效果。。。）
