The southern archipelago includes eight inhabited islands with around 5,000 permanent residents, and these islands has good bathing spots on both the west and east sides.
（瑞典南部群岛中有八个岛屿。那里大约有五千名居民。这些岛屿的西部和东部都具有良好的浴场。）

Styrsöbolaget operates the boat traffic in the south archipelago under licence of Västtrafik, who is the Public Transport Authority in the region of Västra Götaland. The boats depart from the terminal at Saltholmen, easily accessed by tram, bus, bicycle or car. For more information:

Saltholmen ("Salty Islet") is a popular harbour in southern Gothenburg. In the early Autumn 2007, I took one of the ferries from there to visit some islands in the Southern Göteborg Archipelago of Sweden, via Asperö-Brännö route whereby I had a 2 hrs visit in Brännö island.

In the Autumn of 2007, one of my Malaysian colleague & I visited the capital and largest city of Norway - Oslo. It was a 4 hours bus trip from Göteborg, Sweden. Then, we stayed there about four hours before return to Gothenburg.
（在2007年秋天，我和一位马来西亚同事参观了挪威最大城市与首都-奥斯陆。从瑞典哥德堡市只需乘坐四小时巴士就到达那里了。然后，我们逗留那里约四小时后才回哥德堡市酒店）
